HOW WE WORK FOR YOU

Your nominated team member who is your point of contact throughout your enquiry will clearly explain what happens when we help you with a quick house sale when we first contact you. Prior to this, start by reading through the details below - they explain how you can sell your property quickly and what is involved each step of the way.

1. Check what's right for you? Look through our website and check that Property-Buying.co.uk is the best solution for your situation.  We're also happy for you to contact our so called rivals. Always ask yourself:

  • How do they compare?
  • Are there any engagement or booking fees
  • Do they charge for surveys, legal costs, etc?
  • Is a face to face meeting possible
  • Have the various alternatives been explained to you?
  • Are they a trustworthy and reputable organisation?
  • Do they use local property experts with knowledge of where you live?
  • Will they offer a solution that meets your personal requirements? 

2. Contact us. The quickest way to contact us is online via the "Your Details" page.  You can also telephone us on 0870 142 0098 (office-hours national rate number).  One of our expert team members will be assigned to you for the duration of your enquiry.  They will get back to you ‘same day’ for an informal chat about how we can help you.

3. Finding you a solution.  Utilising our database and local property experts knowledge we get an approximate "real market value" for your property.  We then call you to discuss what your needs are, how we can best meet them, and give you an estimated offer value for your property.  This informal offer may change once our local property experts have viewed your property.

4. Agreement.  We will arrange to meet with you and view the property.  We will present you with flexible solutions that will work for you. We will make a formal written offer to you that is valid for 1 month (this may be able to be extended dependant on circumstances).  Unlike some companies, you're still under absolutely no obligation to proceed at this stage and you have still not incurred any charges from us.

5. The sale. Once you have decided to sell to us, we handle all of the paperwork.  You may choose to use your own solicitor to deal with conveyancing, or one from our panel.  Either way, we can help.  At this stage you can now decide if you want to leave your property once the sale is complete, stay for a short amount of time while you make your final moving arrangements.  We always look for a solution that works best for you.  It is in our interests to have satisfied customers who are happy to refer us to others.

6. Completion.   At completion, it is your chosen solicitor who will advise you that the sale is complete and will transfer all monies owed to you.  A representative of the Property Buying Company will, arrange to collect keys, read meter’s etc.  At this point you will have previously decided if you want to leave your property once the sale is complete or stay for a short amount of time while you make your final moving arrangements.  What is guaranteed at this point is that all monies owed to you will be paid directly to you by your chosen solicitor.
